Out with the old, in with the new

Remember the days when "rock, paper, scissor" was used as a means of deciding things? Well those days are over. When deciding what to eat for lunch, nerf wars is the way. When you have a motive to win, you will. The other day I wanted to go out for pizza but my brother didn't want to take me. We decided that whoever wins gets to decide. After a very intense game, I am happy to say that I won. And the pizza was a great prize.

Finally!!

I finally bought a nerf gun that wasn't faulty! I'm sure you think that nerf guns are childish. Well my parent thought the same. But still they wanted to try it. Big mistake! Now they want one as well but my brother and i feel that it's too dangerous for them to handle. The trick is to actually have rules for the nerf wars. Each participant gets 5 lives. Once a player gets hit 5 times, the game is over. How do you avoid getting hit? Hide behind the couches. But make sure the other players don't know when you run out of darts because then you will get hit 5 times in a row without the proper defences.

The purchase continues

I woke up early on Friday morning so i could go to target to get the maverik nerf gun. Fortunately I had a big selection to choose from. I bought the gun, excited for the nerf fight that would await me at home with my brother. This gun shoots a lot farther than my mini nerf gun and it doesn't need pumping first. I opened the box and found out that the spring was broken and i would need to exchange it. Now i need to make time to go all the way back to Target and hope that they won't give me a hard time when I go to exchange it. It seems like I wasn't meant to have a nerf gun :-(

Nerf gun purchases

Finding the perfect nerf gun can be quite an adventure. The first store i went to was toysrus. Unfortunately the small pocket size nerf gun I wanted was not in stock. Instead, my friend Matthew convinced me to buy an alternate nerf gun with more power. Later on I decided that this other nerf gun was not worth the money so I returned it. However, I was still lacking my nerf gun. During my five hour break in school, my brother and I went to Toysrus near Queens College. Mission Accomplished!! I found the mini nerf gun I was looking for. But then, something else caught my eye... A bigger gun called the Maverik which can shoot 6 darts. Because I seem to have the best luck, there was only one left in stock, leaving me and my brother to decide who will get this one and who will have to wait. I lost that fight. The nerf wars will have to wait until I can purchase one of my own.
